Crashing vehicle damages four homes | News

Four properties were damaged when a driver lost control and left the road in Burlington, Iowa.
Police said the crash happened just before 7:30 p.m. June 23, 2012.
A vehicle was southbound on Beaverdale Road when the driver reportedly lost control in a curve at the intersection with Flint Bottom Road.
Police said the vehicle skidded sideways out of control and went into the back yard of a home where it struck a tree.
The vehicle then went into another back yard where it took out a chain link fence. It continued into a third yard where it struck an enclosed porch and damaged landscaping and the exposed pipes of a septic system.
The crashing vehicle reported hit a fence at a fourth residence before it hit a large tree and finally stopped.
The driver, 23-year-old Brandon Lee Carey of Casper, Wyoming, was taken by ambulance to an area hospital. The extent of his injuries was not known.
